Plan one scene before planning a whole advertisement
A short clip works best when the intended motion is easy to explain. A gentle camera move, a product reveal or a change in framing can communicate more clearly than several competing actions. Start with the product and one visual idea, then decide how the scene should move.
The current Video Ads workflow includes a brief, optional brand and product image, aspect ratio, duration choices and an audio-generation setting. It organizes work in projects and reports processing, completion or failure states. Generation is an asynchronous job, so a submitted request is not yet a finished video.
Write a motion brief that preserves the product
For an illustrative ceramic mug, a brief might say: “Slow camera move around the supplied mug on a quiet breakfast table. Keep the handle shape, glaze and printed mark consistent. Soft window light, minimal background movement, no new objects and no additional text.”
This describes the movement and the parts that must stay stable. If you need a particular spoken claim or a detailed edited story, plan the script and post-production separately. A generated clip is one part of a finished advertisement, not a substitute for reviewing the complete message.
Choose the format around its destination
| Decision | Why it matters |
|---|---|
| Aspect ratio | The main subject needs room in the actual placement. |
| Duration | A short action should complete without feeling rushed or repeating awkwardly. |
| Reference image | A clear starting view gives the model a more specific product direction. |
| Audio setting | Generated audio still needs a separate review for suitability and accuracy. |
| Brand context | The visual direction should belong to the selected brand. |
Check the live tool for available models, durations and credit costs. These can change, and a setting available for one workflow may not be available in another.
Review the clip frame by frame where needed
- Watch once for the overall story, then again for product consistency.
- Inspect the beginning and end for abrupt transitions or incomplete movement.
- Check labels, logos, reflections and the interaction between people and objects.
- Listen separately to any generated audio.
- Open the exported video and confirm the final file plays correctly.
Connect video production to the rest of the campaign
Use an approved still image as a reference when it helps maintain the campaign direction. Pair the video with a clear caption and a destination that delivers on the promise. If you need captions, end cards or several clips assembled together, confirm the editing workflow you will use for those production steps.
